The French guarantee of e-liquids of impeccable quality

IN LIGHT OF THE UNFORTUNATE CASES IN THE USA LINKED TO THE INHALATION OF THC OIL E-LIQUIDS AND TOXIC ADDITIVES
FIVAPE wishes to stress strongly that the products implicated in the recent cases in the USA are entirely different from the vaping products sold in specialised shops in France:
The cases in question concern only the USA, and NO SIMILAR CASES have been reported in the rest of the world over the past ten years.
One particular ingredient has been linked to the illnesses reported in the USA: VITAMIN E ACETATE was used in the THC in the e-liquids implicated in these cases. This oil is damaging to the lungs and prevents their normal functioning.
OILS ARE PROHIBITED UNDER AFNOR REGULATIONS by which all French manufacturers abide. Intoxicating ingredients are also proscribed in France and are absent from all French vaping products, unlike in the USA.
Unlike the American market, the regulatory framework around the sale of vaping products in France is EXCEPTIONALLY STRICT, set by the application of the European Directive in force since January 1st 2017 and further bolstered by measures imposed by the Health Law of May 2016.
France is a PIONEER IN THE CERTIFICATION of vaping products. FIVAPE helped to spearhead the first French (AFNOR), European (CEN) and global (ISO) regulations. Oil-based ingredients feature in regulation XP D90 300-2, paragraph 4.2.8.3: “No oil or fatty body, of vegetable or mineral origin, may be used as an ingredient in the manufacture of e-liquids.
The 35000 products available on the French market have all been subject to a PRECISE AND DETAILED STATUTORY NOTICE by ANSES, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety.
